Deerwood was started in 1983 by developer Dan Nichols.  With features such as rolling hills, mature trees and executive homes built on 132 large lots, Deerwood is a great place to live.  Deerwood is located in White River Township and has a community pool with a newly remodeled and upgraded pool house and a tennis court.  The park like atmosphere, as well as  several community activities throughout the year, which are sponsored by Deerwood's neighborhood association, helps to insure a sense of community, friendship and pride among the residents of the neighborhood.

 

Deerwood is located only 20 minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport, 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis and 20 minutes from Greenwood Park Mall.  It is only five minutes from Center Grove High School, one of the finest academic and athletic high schools in the State and minutes from several churches.
